With Father’s Day coming up, Foot Locker brought in some of the NBA’s top prospects to talk about what their dads mean to them.
Kentucky’s De’Aaron Fox, Florida State’s Jonathan Isaac, Duke’s Jayson Tatum and UCLA’s Lonzo Ball were the four who made up the skit. It started off with Fox’s reflections of playing one-on-one and how Tatum’s dad never missed a game. And then Lonzo stole the show.

He verbalized everything that we’ve criticized LaVar Ball for, and it couldn’t have gone any better. Whether or not Ball wrote this himself, his delivery was perfect. All the incidents he mentioned made headlines across the nation, with the funniest being the opening line.
“When your dad berates your high school coach in front of an entire crowd for not getting you enough touches.”

Lonzo then went rapid fire. He touched on LaVar’s decision for him to go to UCLA. How his name is a huge piece of Big Baller Brand, and how Stephen A. Smith and LaVar got into a shouting match on First Take because he went out on a limb to say Lonzo’s better than Stephen Curry.
What an incredible idea from Foot Locker, and credit Lonzo for being such a good sport about everything.
