It’s exhausting work enforcing your will on inferior competition. Right, LeBron?
Monday night saw the start of the Eastern Conference Semifinals and James and the Cavaliers were taking on DeMar DeRozan and the Toronto Raptors in the first game of the doubleheader. As you probably expected, the contest was going, um, very not good for Toronto.
James notched another 30-point, 10-rebound performance and played to the crowd during one of the Cavaliers third quarter runs.

It’s not an indication of the entire series but, if the Raptors allow LeBron to do whatever he wants, we may see more of these acts of showmanship. Personally, I hope we do. As bad as Cleveland’s looked recently, they’ve dominated to start the postseason after a host of people were beginning to count them out.
Regardless, they still need to win three more games. Does Toronto have a chance to bounce back and cause an upset? Of course, but getting slapped around to kick off the series isn’t a great start and DeRozan and Kyle Lowry better figure out something quickly before James goes a step further and starts taking shots at halfcourt.
