Los Angeles Clippers center Willie Reed was reportedly arrested early Sunday morning on a count of domestic-violence in Miami.

According to David Ovalle of the Miami Herald, Reed, 27-years-old, was still in jail at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday after getting charged with misdemeanor battery. Further details aren’t yet known.

Earlier this summer, Reed signed a one-year, $1.5 million deal with the Clippers after spending last season with the Miami Heat. In 71 games, he averaged 5.3 points and 4.7 rebounds while shooting 56.8 percent from the field.

Reed’s heading into his third professional season after going undrafted in the 2011 NBA Draft. Since then, he’s spent time in the D-League and overseas before beginning his NBA tenure with the Brooklyn Nets in 2015-16.

The former standout at Saint Louis is still very raw offensively but has carved out a niche being a solid rebounder and a decent rim protector. At 6-10 with length and athleticism, Reed has no issues skying above opponents and snagging balls off the glass, and it’s a reason he averaged 11.6 per 36 minutes last season.
