Despite being behind Nike, and now Under Armour, adidas has always managed to create stellar uniforms for the teams they sponsor. They’ve done it for the NBA with Christmas jersey and All-Star jerseys (although, the short-sleeves are a little suspect), and also engineer special threads for the NCAA teams they partner with.

College basketball’s March Madness is right around the corner, and adidas produced their “Made In March” uniform collection for teams to rock during both conference tournaments and the big dance. Arguably, the Super Bowl and World Cup are the only athletic events that are bigger than March Madness. With football season over and the World Cup not slated for this summer, there will be a huge audience to see their uniforms.

The garments were unveiled on Twitter by the adidas basketball account with the slogan, “Celebrate history, then make it again.” Nine teams have partnered with adidas and will be donning new uniforms:

Overall, the jerseys look great and the designs are just as nice. The color contrasts and choices don’t cause eye-sores like adidas has done in the past.

The apparel will be online and also at select campus retailers.

Let the madness begin!
